몽상가 Mongsangga — a person who enjoys thinking about improbable things.
The Mongsangga animations shift through dreamscapes that lose their form just as they become recognisable, constantly shifting from one scene into the next. The visuals trace back to ideas of South Korea, a mix between memories and imagination, all tumbling into each other in a seamless flow.
The animations induce a dreamlike, whimsical state. Viewers are taken on an adventure through stories that stem from the Asian diaspora, with key themes of time passing, memories fading, and an attempt at reconstructing a fantasy.
